Sizes and short sizes

General

The side length of trousers is measured from the waist to the hemline. MADELEINE short sizes have the regular width, but are tailored to shorter proportions in all length measurements.

The length measurements for classic trousers/pantsuits refer to the side seam without the waistband. All fashion trousers with a shaped waistband/cutaway waistband are stated with the total length (incl. waistband).

Sizes

Our sizes fit you perfectly if you are taller than 164 cm (5 ft 4) and your legs are around 106 cm long. The side length of your chosen garment can be found in the respective item description.

Short sizes

It is best to order a short size if you are shorter than 164 cm (5 ft 4) and the side length of your legs is approx. 100 cm. The side length of your chosen garment can be found in the respective item description. MADELEINE short sizes correspond to standard sizes in terms of width, but are tailored to shorter proportions in all length measurements.

The short size is the halved size.
